Welcome to 16/04 and the DEADLY LUST YOU MUST NOT FALL FOR is in Jugdes 16/04-
“And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.”

Samson was predestined by God to deliver the nation of Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
For this reason, God endued him with phenomenal physical strength that made him into a one man terror to the nation of Philistines.
But his lust for strange women later became his albatross as he met his Waterloo in Delilah.
His love for Delilah, a woman in the valley of Sorek, brought him down from the mountain top of destiny into the valley of premature death and destruction.
His love for Delilah made him to lose his seven headlocks which were the secret of his enormous strength- “And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.” vs 19
His love for Delilah made him to lose the very presence of God which was the invisible secret of his incredible invincibility- “And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.” vs 20
His love for Delilah made him to become a blinded prey and prisoner in the hand of the same enemy he was destined to defeat and destroy- “But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.” vs 21
Samson had a pathetic end despite his glorious beginning because of his indiscipline, indulgence, insensitivity and immorality.
Samson was not careful as he loved what was meant to kill him and became killed later by what he loved.
You must be careful not to love what will kill you so as not to be killed by what you love.

O Lord let me not love what wants to kill me and let me not be killed by what I love in Jesus name.

Good day
