Welcome to *19/08* and the *INDISPENSABLE ASSETS TO ACQUIRE* is in *Proverbs 19/08*-

_”He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good”_

 

There are many things in life that people aspire to acquire as assets.

But one of the greatest assets to aspire for and acquire are wisdom and understanding.

If you love your own soul, you will pay the price to get wisdom.

If you want to find good all the days of your life you will keep understanding.

Through wisdom and understanding, God created the heavens and the earth from nothing – _”The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.”_ Prov.3:19

Through wisdom and understanding, Joseph reigned and ruled in Egypt despite being sold there as a slave- _”And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art : Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.”_ Gen.41:39,40

 

Through wisdom and understanding Solomon reigned and ruled in Israel despite being very young and inexperienced – _”And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.”_ 1Kings 4:29-31

Through wisdom and understanding, Daniel, Azariah, Mishael and Hananiah were distinguished in Babylon despite being taken there as captives- _”And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”_ Dan. 1:19,20
